    The Real 05' Focus

Just thougth you may like to see the production pictures of the Focus that didn't come (although Mazda3 and Volvo S40, its technological twins did). Th exterior is a bit Saab like but still very much a Focus. The interior looks like a giant leep ahead.

Not too bad. I would like to see it after SVT had the chance to modify it!

Much better interior, much worse exterior. It does look like a Honda. Check out:

The UK version is a little better than this concept, though.

The cars on the pics are production identical cars for advertising and press purposes. Not different from the ones pictures in Ford Uk web site. The concept was the one shown in the Chinese autoshow a few months back, which grille you can see in my avatar.

I prefer that interior MUCH more than our hodge-podge of past/current bits.

Exterior...I'm liking it. Very upscale. I'd hit it!

    Cool We have a buyer!

Change is often met with dislike.
I'm not very receptive(at the moment) to that complicated exterior. It needs some kind of special vehicle team from somewhere to give it a nice makeover.
    Nudge, nudge

It comes in a coupe right?

Coupe/convertible. Chances are, we'll see that small coupe coming in the form of a Volvo or other Ford family version

Oh...I just came across this post from a European Focus forum:

    The Ford Focus Emotion:

European Fords have specific limited edition series, much like our Street Editions, Konas, Sonys, and Mach. I'm diggin' this iteration...amazing how a few pieces of urethane and rims make so much difference.

Still needs to have the rear section elongated to be more Focus-like. I agree the red one is pretty (red does in fact, rule!) but it is a large change. I like the changes they made to the exterior US version better. More subtle, a bit classier, but still a Focus. Keeps our Foci (?) more modern looking, because they still resemble the current models.

Remember how dated all of the Taurus' looked as new models came around? Don't want that to happen to our cars, for sure.

    Thumbs down

I'm sure the underpinnings are terrific.

BUT, the interior looks like a 1974 Ford LTD and my Lab wouldn't fit in the hatch of that Hondavagon.
