    Ins info about our cars:

I did this quote out of curiosity. My current rates are actuallt better but this was through State Farm.

Below is a quote for a 27 yo male no at fault accidents or violations:

    Bodily Injury / Property Damage $100,000/$300,000/$50,000 $248.00
    Comprehensive $500 $86.80
    Collision $500 $219.20
    Uninsured Motor Vehicle $10,000/$20,000 $39.20
    Medical Payments $10,000 $76.00

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Total Premium Vehicle 1 of 2: $669.20

Note that is semi-annual. Folks that is pretty basic coverage for our cars. Apparently the ins industry has taken note of all the totals.....just look at the comp deductible. For the same amount on my wife's CR-V it is half that. Collision is also $50 cheaper on hers. I'm afraid that soon some people won't be able to own the car cause the ins is just too high.

    Moral of story: DRIVE CAREFULLY!

I'm 37 with State Farm and my insurance is only about eleven dollars lower than the 04 F-150 I traded in. They say it is because of the past Focus reliability and repair rates, but I still pay half of what you are quoted here hopefully everyone can shop around and get a better rate.

Wow. That seems like an awful lot.

I'm only paying about $1400 a year (canadian! thats more like $1050 american) for a completely loaded policy.

I know this is an old thread but before I got married I was paying $345.00 for 20 year old with no accidents or violations, now I pay $175. So if you can't afford the insurance get married.
