Ok, I've asked a bunch of people and have done a little research online as well. When my car is cold, if I have the clutch out, it makes a terrible grinding noise.
It's yelling at me! I haven't done anything to it! The only problem is, the Ford dealer that's closest, McCoy Mills in Fullerton, Ca is just far enough away that my car warms up and the sound goes away. It happens other times as well, even warm, but it is its loudest when I start it up in the morning/when it's cold.
Any word on it? I asked my father, seeing as I'm 19, and he says if it's a dual-disc clutch, it might be the plate dividing the discs. I have no idea!
