That's what has me so frustrated. I wouldn't be half as ticked if they said "Yeah, we can hear the noise, but we're still unsure where it's coming from". But the guy flat out said "Have you heard that noise? Because I haven't heard it yet". :rolleyes" This was after 10 minutes of driving the car with it banging around like that. He then said "Oh, I figured that was the 1/4 trim". Hello! You just told me you didn't hear anything!Originally posted by GapBoyPCS

I honestly can't say where that noise is coming from. When you "load" the suspension by going faster or slower, it comes and goes.
In some ways, it sounds like a sub-frame of some sort that's not bolted on right to the rest of the frame![]()
So, now the car is back, they fixed like 4 different things this time (including the loose subframe bolts you mentioned), and after driving a few miles, BOOM! My ever present suspension noise is back. I just don't know what to think. If I hated the car, I'd just unload it. But I like it a whole lot, and furthermore, if I went to trade it in, I'll bet they'd hear the noise then, don't ya think? They'd probably offer me $8K for "a faulty suspension".
