    Thumbs up christmas get together

confirmed reservations today. whoever gets there first, they are listed as svtoa. they are for 6:30 so you can get there early and have a ****tail or two. after dinner , those that want to can drive to the festival of lights at james island county park, about 5 minutes from the restaurant. 2 million christmas lights you drive all around the displays. you can park and get out, then walk around the enchanted forest, ride the carousel, roast marshmellow and drink hot choclate, and visit the christmas gift shops. cost is $10 per car/truck. the covette club did this when i was a member and had a great time. just an idea for something to do besides eat and run. besides a line of svt's driving slowly thru the park would be impressive. you can also listen to their christmas music on your radio. see ya sat. nite, jim.

You want to really upset a Dodge Hemi owner, tell him your truck has a Hemi too. And it truely does, just made by Ford.

    Tonight

Everyone agree on being at the party at 6:30 pm? That was the last I heard. Anyway, I'll periodically check the forum all day to see if there are any changes to the scheduled time. I know originally it was set at 7:00pm, but I thought someone changed the time to 6:30pm.

    Anyway, see you there Tonight!!

I will be there at 6 30 but, I promise not to party before 7.........

I look forward to seeing you all.Now if we would have invited everyone that doesn't read the forum we might have filled the place up.We can work on that for next year.

I think the topic of the day should be what everyone would like to do for fun next year such as sea cruise ,Wannamaker Park ,dyno where? etc.We can toss it around during the evening and maybe figure it out by next Sunday Dec 14.

We need at least 6 venues for starters.(meetings etc)

    Regrets

I am sorry to have to post this, but Tracy and I both have the flu and will not be able to come tonight.

I know you all will have a blast and the lights are a lot of fun too.

    See you all at Darlington.

There were 9 of us who showed up to the party.

We had a good time. We started eatijng around 7:15, after we figured everyone else was not comming, or going to be late.

I enjoyed the Prime rib very much. It was soft enough to cut with a fork. The Oysters Rockefeller was also real good. 4 glasses of red wine helped wash it all down and it was all good.

Sorry all you other people missed it.

    Mabey next year, huh?

    Danno,

Sorry I ended up not making it. Didn't get back home last night til 7:30pm
Traffic was heavy and I wouldn't have made it to he party til 8-8:30pm.
Well, at least I got the roll bar tubing and slicks for my 68' Mustang project car.

Ended up going out later and was treated to a most excellent steak at the Outback Steakhouse and then to a very entertaining lap dance by two very fine female types! Oops, was I getting too military there.. Haaa was fun!
