    Front plate

How many of you installed that ugly looking black plastic plate holder on the front of your SVTF?

I live in a 2 plate state and refuse to install it into my car... Didn't come from the factory that way... Sorry I'm not drilling holes into and placing that ugly junk on my car!

Just wondering who else felt that way.?

It is in the divider pocket in the truck though... along with my front plate. Incase I get harrased I can pull it out and beg!

I figure... If they push that bad I'll place it on the dash but haven't had that happen yet... I'm not putting holes in my car for a license plate!

Sonic Blue + Blue Licence Cover = FINE

In Ontario, 2 plates are the law... Don't even think about not having them both on... I know cops already keep an eye out for us... I've been told our car begs to be pulled over. (I guess that was his way of telling me that the car has nice clean lines looks like a great racing car) I've got a Sonic Blue SVT, and have a blue licence plate cover over the front and back plates. It actually looks quite decent.
If I had a red, black or silver SVT, I would probably go with the smoke plate covers. I've seen them around and think they look good too.

I'm military and the smoked plate covers already got me a ticket issued on base!!! There is a base policy about not having the smoked covers installed! I don't know about the state of Alaska?

Like said above though 2 plates are required... However I will not place holes in my car... Don't care what the law says. If they are that persistant I guess the best alternative is suction cupping it to the front window!?!?! DUNNO

i also live in ontario but i have never been stoped for not having my front plate. i keep mine in the pocket on the back of the passanger seat just in case i need to throw it up on the dash very quickly. as for the dealer i asked them not to put the black plastic on

Motor City BABY!! The birthplace of today's Automobile Lovers!! Of-coarse this means were a one-plate state! I put mine in the closet..and thought to myself..."I hope I never have to move somewhere where I need that thing!!" I've never liked front plates...I think that states that require them are full of it! Why spend so much money on car only to de-face it!?

Nope not on my baby. I live in a one plate state

The dealer did give it to me though, so maybe I should try selling the "ugly looking black plastic plate holder" on ebay

Of course I'll reword it as "high performance aerodynamic front plate mounting kit"

    What do you guys think?
Oh yeah, there's one more gear!
