It must have been the same guy that took my pictures, I agree, it was a great deal.

I've always wanted to put an R oil cooler and power steering cooler on the car, do you know if they are available anywhere?

A weekday is kinda rough for me to get to an event (not planning on going to the Experience) but we'll see what happens. An SVT event at GingerMan is worth the effort.

You can buy the oil cooler out of the Ford Motorsport catalog but the brackets are unavailable. I am looking at working with someone to get some brackets made up. The PS cooler is available from www.mustangparts.com which is PPI.

We tried to get a weekend day at Gingerman but unfortunately the SCCA's 5-10 track days takes priority over us.

If you happen to make an extra set of brackets for the oil cooler, let me know, I'd take them off your hands (Now why would they sell an oil cooler for which brackets are unavailable?)

I'm sure weekend dates are at a premium at GingerMan and am putting the 12th on the calendar. It's just going to take some planning.

Hey everyone, nice cars(and trucks) all around. 93 Cobra owner here with 32,000 miles on the clock. Just made the leap into some major mods. I purchases an S-trim w/Aftercooler and will be adding 42# injectors, 75MM MAF, and a highflow pump. Can you guys tell me if stock 93 valve covers are discontinued and if the 93 oil pan is different from the non SVT models. I'll be damaging both of these with the blower install.

Welcome aboard 93CBRA! I believe I have 32,000 miles on my 93 Cobra as well.

The oil pan is the same as a regular 5.0L and the valve covers are unique and probably discontinued so I would probably replace them with a different set or else buy some different covers altogether.

Thanks Mark, I guess I will buy some new covers if my old ones will need to be modified.

    '93 Cobras

I have a '93 Cobra (27k miles, Red/gray leather) that's been modified to run E Street Prepared Street Tire class in SCCA SOLO II racing. I also just purchased a '02 SVT Focus. They're both outstanding vehicles to have fun in!

VENOM S, I had a 99.5 Contour that I had a lot of problems with. It was in the shop every other week. How's your Focus? Pretty cool car, how do you like it? Have you raced it in any SOLO events yet?

Well, I just got the Focus a month or so ago so I haven't had a chance to race it yet. My wife plans on racing it next year but it's a really big class here in Detroit. We'll see how she does. I expect her times to be way faster than mine in the Cobra.

    Hey All,

... while I'm not technically a '93 owner anymore, I was an original owner.

Anyone out there ever heard of "R M Performance" located in SoCal? I understand they bought my stripped car and I'd like to make sure it went to a good home.

    Later,
    Mike B.

Which stroker kit did you go with and how much HP are you putting out?

    Talking First time poster.

Hi! I have a 1993 Cobra and Lighting. Cobra is #1585 with 12,000 miles on her, and the Lighting is #4336 with 88,000 miles. I just finish putting Mac springs, headers, h-pipe, mufflers, under drive pullyes, 70mm throttle, and cold air intake. Also put a pro 5.0 shifter, intake spacer, and 9mm wires. The Lighting is all stock, well not for long! Come on lets hear it for the original SVT's!!!!!!
Not that I wouldn't take a '03 Cobra or Lighting if I had the money!!
