Has anybody had install problems with newer 3-piece Bassani X-pipe w/cats?

Has anybody had installation problems with the newer 3-piece Bassani X pipe w/cats on a 96-98 Cobra? The newer pipe comes in three pieces as opposed to the older pipe which is in one piece.
I have read in SVT Enthusiast that they had problems with one of the O2 sensor locations. Did anybody experience this first hand or any other problems?
    Thanks.

I had problems with the passenger side pipe hitting the Tranny mount. The O2 sensors were fine.
I get high from smoking rubber

This really pi$$es me off hearing this and you are not the only one. This pipe cost over $460 and it should fit like a glove. How close is it? How did you fix the problem?

Damn, my older one piece Bassani X w/cats fit with no problems other than the passenger side exhaust manifold nut being a PITA to get off, so much for progress huh.

BTW, I get to do the whole process over again when I install my JBA headers

I had the older style and one of the cats gave me the "death rattle." Bassani replaced it with the new 3-piece one that saves them $$$ in shipping costs. Supposedly, the newer pipes have better cats now.

We'll see in a few weeks how my install goes.
