Question What Mods do you have?

I'm curious, I've lowered my 96 Cobra and upgraded tires, installed a KN filter, Pro 5.0 shifter, 4.10 gears and sequential taillights. I think my next mod will be exhaust and then a chip. Any opinions to pass along? I'm interested in exhaust advice, fit and finish, cost and sound. Thanks!

I have a 98 with every bolt on plus Procharger. Now I`m building another motor for it.Next mods you can do are Exhaust like you stated,Cold air kit, underdrive pulleys,BBK twin 65mm throttle body(upper intake has to be ported to fit it in). You`ll notice alot of top end power increase with the throttle body and exhaust with an off-road X -pipe.See the exhaust thread for different types.Hope these help.

One of the things I would add next would be full length sub frame connectors. The more you do for performance the better chance you have for the floor pan to tear on your car.

    My mods:

    Full Length Sub Frame connectors
    Pro 5.0 Shifter
Maximum Motor Sprots Caster Camber Plates
    FRP 3.73 gears
    C&L
Tokico Suspension Syster (5 way adjustable shocks and struts, springs)
Griggs off set rack bushing (alluminum)
    Custom front Brake cooling ducts.
    Schroth 4 point harness
    FRP rear Lower Control Arms

    To be done

    Apex Motors Kevelar Clutch
Steeda Clutch Quandrant with fire wall adjuster and cable
    Accell Plug wires

which is probably the biggest reason that it survived...

anyway, when are you planning to get your subs installed?

on my cobra...dont even have any yet...there seems to be some unique-ness to the 96 - 98 vert subs...i have tried to install some sets locally a few times (J&P - Rev'N High)...and everytime i get a call...they wont fit...come get your car...maybe i should just buy some KB "super duper" subs...that are meant for my vert...and have them installed

    Thumbs up

I would personnaly go with some Griggs or Maximum MotorSports full length subs. These are heavier than KB and will support more.

There is no Subs from the factory on the convert for 96-98. Just look under your car and you can see this.

The other important point is that they need to have a seat supports also. The floor pan usually tears at the seat mounting point first.

for me, using the griggs or maximum motor sports wasn't an option because of my side exhaust, but it's probably a good option for that arboc guy

Maximum Motorsport full length subframe connectors
    Eibach Progressive Rate Springs
    Bilstein struts/shocks
    Granatelli upper/lower rear control arms
    Steeda caster/camber plates
