    Speed limiter

    I have a 2007 Shelby GT500. Does it have any electronic or fuel control to limit top speed? I am going to the Texas Mile in October and do not want any limits.

    Yes, it does. I believe the electronic governor is either 150 or 155 MPH. Good old lawyers, making sure the car can't outrun the rating of the OEM tires. That said, I do believe a competent tuner can overcome that limit.

    There is a Diablo tune installed in the car before I bought it. Would that override it?
