    Smile '95 convert. / hardtop

I have recently aquired a 1995 Cobra SVT convt. with the optional Hardtop! 1 of499 made.
38,000 miles, battery and tires are the only things that have been replaced. I believe I have all the goodies that go with it. Hardtop storage rack and cover, boot, window sticker ($30,6xx) in 95! and some other stuff. How many are known to be around and what are they worth? We love driving it BUT hate to ruin its value. Thanks in advance for any help. softop

It may be 1 of 499 but I say drive it anyway.
Will you ever get back what you paid for it?
What good is a car if you never drive it.

My son just bought (in December of 2011) a 1999 Rio Red Cobra vert with only 15 K on her.
It sure was nice of that guy to never drive it so my son could have a really nice car.
Clean in and out just like new.
My son has put more miles on it in the last 4 months than the original owner did in the last 4 years.

Oh and the price? My son paid $13,500 way less than asking.

Nice car. A good friend of mine, Tom Shepherd, has one of these cars. One of the most rare of the Cobras.

There has been one of these for sale on the St Louis craigslist site for awhile, very cool car, he just thinks its worth way more than it really is.

I say drive it, no point in letting a performance car sit and rot.

I've been think about 3:73 gears, flowmasters, and maybe a intake pipe w/ filter. these wouldn't alter it too much do you think.

Cold air and flowmasters are a good starting point.
I can't say about the gears as mine are still stock.

My son just did a BBK catted X pipe and Flowmaster American thunder cat back with a tune on his 1999 Cobra and it sounds great.
