Can you help me with these engine pics?

Hey guys.

Need a little help.

Two pics here. Help me out if you can please.

The first one... three things circled.

1. The EGR... did my 5.0 have this? I can't remember seeing that for the life of me. I know it was there, why don't I remember seeing that? It's not a "Cobra EGR" is it?

2. What are the two do-hickies (black and white) in the pic? Why do I have two? What are they?

3. These valve covers have an PCV valve? What's up with that?

The second pic is the alternator. Two wires coming off it? This can't be stock. (Car has aftermarket stereo.) Can someone explain this to me?

Okay, I'm done with my dumb questions for tonight.

Any help is certainly appreciated!

open a account at www.photobucket.com or any other photo hosting web site, then re-post a bigger picture. Yes the 5.0 has a EGR I had to replace mine once, back when I had a 5.0

In the bottom left picture it looks like a pvc valve.
The EGR is mounted to the EVP (if I remember right).
The middle you have circled I don't remember.
Sorry I can't help with the alternator.

Thanks for the help. Love your Cobra BTW. Driving a rag top in the desert, at night, is just sooo cool.
