    boost gauge!!!

I just got a boost gauge, it measures up to 30lbs of boost, and 30lbs of vacuum. I want to install it above the radio, and I was tinkering around in the car trying to get the radio and was having some difficulty doing so. I had the climate control knobs removed and was sorta stuck there, how do I get radio and plastic piece around it off? any help will be greatly appreciated, I know I can do it but I don't want to break the plastic because of one little hidden screw, bolt, or ticky little clip. thanks again

you need a set of ford keys form walmart for 5 bucks that will take the radio out. You slip them in push to the outside of them and pull the radio should slip right out. Then there is 4 10mm bolts in the corners holding the main piece on.

alright thank you very much! When you say four 10mm bolts holding the main piece on, you mean the plastic piece around the radio right. I am gonna go and see what I can do. once again thanks.

thanks to svtfocus03 I used the link he posted and the coat hanger technique to get the radio out, I have the gauge mounted and hooked up to power. I just need to drill a hole in the firewall to get the hose from the gauge to the intake manifold after the throttle plate. when I have it all finished I will take some pics of it for those who would like to view them. thanks!

It has been a little while since I have posted anything on here, but I am back now. The boost gauge has been sucessfully mounted and installed, but I have it hooked up on the vacuum, or intake side of the supercharger, and not the pressurized or boosted side. another thing I noticed while installing the hose for the gauge was the intake says jackson racing on it. I have looked around online and found a jackson racing supercharger kit which included the supercharger, injectors, and a flash card for the ecu. the previous owner must've really went out of his way to juice this thing up, as he also had the fuel rail, and intake swapped out. I will take some pics of it here in a little while and try to get a shot of the intake as well and then later on tonight I will get a shot of the gauge with the parking lights on.

    no pics!! no focus!!

It has been a long time since i have been on here but I am currently FOCUS-less. I have been focusless for about two months now. I was involved in an accident where I was rearended and have been driving JUNKY dodge neon rental cars. last I heard was my car is all repaired and awaiting final inspection. so when or if I ever get my focus back then I wil post some pics of the boost gauge and hook the line up on the boosted side of the supercharger. just didn;t want y'all to think I had forgotten about ya!
