Hey Folks,
Our first SVTOA event of the year is a go!!! On Sunday January the 19th (10am) we are going to combine our first SVTOA meeting of the year with some competitive cart racing. We ran F1 (www.f1boston.com) a couple times last year and it was a blast. Depending on how many folks attend we will probably have some type of official race event. As a special feature Dave Spear will be holding classing on how to block and run other guys off the course. Cost will depend on how many races you run. They offer a Mini Grand Prix which is $80 and offers three 10 lap races and one final race with the fastest cars. Normal races are 15 laps and run $25. If interest is great enough we can rent the track for 30 minutes ($850, includes all licenses, $85 per person @ 10 people). If you are an SVTOA member you'll receive $10 off your racing cost. After racing we'll grab lunch and talk about next years SVTOA events (already have three autoxs on the books). We'll be looking for any input on the club and events in general.
