View Full Version : Want to start doing mods, any sugg???

i have a 94L with 37,000. complety stock except for a K&N Air Filterand flowmaster mufflers. I dont have that much money but would like to star modding, what kind of parts could i buy, and where can i get them, i cant really find many aftermarket performance pars for the gen 1. please help. thank you!

Wow, only 37K on the clock, that's great. I still have certian things that I liked about my '94 better than my Gen 2 L's that I have had.

I never did mod my '94 past your current level but I think one of the first things to be done is to convert the speed density system to mass air as the the truck is pretty maxed out PCMwise. You are able to add all kinds of power once that is done.

You should probably get to www.nloc.net and check out the Gen 1 forum. They will have a much better idea of what works and what doesn't.

Hey, thanks alot, yeah i got lucky and found one with only 34.900 on it when i bought it, but i had to drive it a little ;) but again thanks for the advice, and by the way, i wanted to get a o4 sonic blue lightning, if you got any pics can you send them to my email. firefighter2626@hotmail.com. thanks alot

To clarify,I have mass air on my gen 1 but there are guys running 11's and possibly 10's with the speed density.

Like Blueovalbolt said checking out nloc.net is the best thing to do.
