Great news Tom

I have seen the Brembo kit advertised at www.buyfordracing.com
for $899.00. That is a very good price. Most outlets offer the kit
for over $1000.00! I bought the kit with the slotted rotors and
have been very happy with them for almost a year :bna
Ford Racing sells these kits now, so maybe you could get a deal
where you work. The kits come with either plain, slotted, or cross-
drilled rotors. The kits come with braided brake hoses and at least two
sets of Brembo pads(one set is installed in the calipers and an
extra set. When I bought my kit, I got lucky, it came with 3 sets of
pads! The pedal feel is fantastic and I haven't had any brake fade in
almost one year(I've only used the Brembo pads so far.

Autopower roll bar: I know that SVTOA members get a discount
directly from Autopower(how much of a discount I don't know)
Kim knows of a store in N.C that has the rollbars in stock.
I believe Kim said the store was located near Cary N.C.

If you keep adding all these parts to your car on top of your
great driving skills, then I will never be able to catch you on
a roadcourse :upst: The same goes for you Kim :bash:

Two of the happiest day in a man's life is when he buys a boat and when he sells it. :bna Sounds like you on the right rack to getting your car completed.

I got my roll bar from Carolina Mustang in Cary,NC. They had to order mine but they do stock some. I saved a hundred bucks because I went and picked it up from them instead of having it shipped. It is a great store to visit. Thier number is 919 467 2900 ext 2. Make sure that you get one that is DOM and has the cross bar and the diagonial bar also. That way you legal for most all tracks and when you are ready you can add harnesses very easily. Get the bolt in and I can help you install it. :D Do not know if you will lose your back seat or not.

Sorry, no updates yet! Loretta just had lasik eye surgery yesterday, so she is not in the mood to talk about other things for the Cobra yet! Plus she is getting over the shock of what I really look like!!!

But, my buddy Gary (Driving Instructor) just had the Ford Motorsport Upgrade Supercharger installed on his car, and from what he tells me it is awesome! I will let you know my thoughts when he takes me for a ride!

Wonder if I can slide that by the wife!!!!!:)

Install was not to bad, but it sure was HOT!!!

I got them bedded in yesterday, and the difference between these and the stock calipers and rotors is night and day!

Now, lets see if I can get under 2:00 minute lap times at CMP!!!!

I take it that the change over was no big deal. Well I guess that the 17th will be the day of reckoning.

Two of the happiest day's in a man's life is when he buys a boat and when he sells it.

My brother calls a boat a hole in the water that you pour money into, so I bought it from him. 12 years later I still love it. With the Cobra I now have 2 ways to have fun, long trips by car or by water. :bna :tmb:

B.O.A.T. = Break Out Another Thousand. gas prices are taking the fun out of it for me. My boat takes 250 gal. to fill at $2.50 a gallon.

$2.50 a gal thats cheap!! Gas on the water here was $2.66 a gal last weekend and today it went up even more (over $3.00). Today gas on land hit $2.50 for regular. I run 15 gal an hour on the boat so the tanks don't last long. I met a guy who is only getting 3 gallons to the mile no that's not a typo he has twin 502's blown and is running 100+ mph on the water.
What size boat do you have? Here is a picture of my gas hog. 25' X 9'.6" beam.

Thanks for the uplifting news :D Toys always cost more to own and have fun. My wife and I get to cruise the ICW we have been as far north as Washington,NC and as far south as Savanna, GA. At cruising speed of 3600 rpm (20 -22 knots) I burn about 30 gph. at idle about 2gph. I have 2003 Searay 360 Sundancer. beam is 12' 6" Twin 8.1 @ 370 hp each. Props are 4 blade nibral 24x23's

Nice boat!! Now the only problem is you never go down in size just up. After the car is paid off we would like to go up to a Carver $$ if our wallet allows it. There is a really nice 55' by where we keep our boat. I love the Great Lakes and the boating here but I am really starting to hate the winters (the snow is not too bad just the COLD that goes with it) plus I have to put both of my toys away every fall.

That is one of the nice things about living here. I can use my toys year round. The winter is some of the best boating down here. We do not plan on moving up in size. As a matter of fact if we do not use it more than we do it will go up for sell next year.
