The following message is from the NASA TX group, organizers of the Texas Mile. For those not familiar with the event, it is an event designed to measure top speed of vehicles through a 1 mile course. There are several classes based on vehicle and anticipated top speed. Vehicle preperation for street classes is minimal. A good chance to back up all the smack talk you have been laying out! :spinem:

Good afternoon Racers,
Reminder: There is a Texas Mile event July 16-17 in Goliad, TX.
We are trying to get some preliminary numbers for this upcoming event in July.
Our concern for this particular date is the heat. We have already hit a couple of 100 degree days here in TX and are not sure what it may be in July. We would like to try and get a count of all of those that are interested in attending this event and trying to determine if it should be 1 day or two.
Please let us know if you can or cannot attend this event. Your response is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
