I get a jingling noise at the bottom of my stick shift under the shift console when running up in any gear between 5,500 to 7,000 rpm. It sounds like 2 loose washers jingling. The dealer said they had no clue what the cause could be. Has anyone had this issue? If I rest my hand on the shifter, the jingling goes away.

I believe a lot of people have this problem, I think a short shifter from Steeda is a good fix.

Steeda STS helps the situation, but it didn't completely eliminate it in my car.

It is kind of weird....my 04 had no noise in the shifter, stock. Went with the SCT tune from FS and with the ZED0 93 version, it rattles like you are complaining about. Must just be the engine buzzing and causing some harmonic vibration in the shift linkage.
I am now running the RLA6 93 tune and it is smooth and quiet to 7600. I LIKE it! But, I'd wager that taking some of the slop out of the cable connections with plastic washers or the like would eliminate the shifter buzzing.
