Anyone know where to find one for under $50~60? Want to mount it to my roll bar.

Thanks.

i have made one for the SVTF. It is a single seat one so the passenger can adjust their seat without the driver having to. Basically it looks just like the picture above, but only goes to one seat.

I looked at that design too and decided that I wanted something that wasn't cantilevered, hence my two-post design.

I've got a small table-top tripod that I could strap on my roll bar with a couple hose clamps, and it might work, but I can't believe I have to shell out over $100 for a simple swivel head with a C-clamp on it. Maybe there's an untapped market here?

How is your mount actually attached to the cross bar?

I paid $40 for mine. It was a Monsaurat or something like that. Will hold up to 8 lbs.

I've found a couple different sites that used a Bogen-Manfrotto Mini Ballhead #482 (what a mouthfull), which will hold my 2.5 lb camera. I'm going out looking for one today, and if I can't find one locally, Amazon has them for $24.99. All I need to do is come up with an attachment that I can C-clamp or hose clamp to the roll bar.
I should be bleeding my brakes right now instead, but this is more fun and cleaner :D.

Thanks for the info, guys. I have one built and mounted now. I'll see if I can get some pix of it up. The only cost was 1 Bogen-Manfrotto Mini Ballhead #482, and a couple things I had laying around in the garage.

Now, any ideas how to post pix?

I bought one of a NJStangFan's mounts (from NJStangFan), which I have since replaced with a I/O Racing Harness Bar System.

I will be at SVTOA Mountaineer Madness. If anyone is interested in this mount, I'll sell it. Make me an offer.
