Changing my oil today and decided to change my fuel filter for the first time which was a piece of cake, but the filter is held in by a clamp with a screw on top and there is no way I could loosen that screw (well, I could of, but...), then tighten it back up so I just unscrewed the whole bracket and went from there. Just wanted to know if there was an easy way that someone loosened that screw on top instead of taking off the bracket and manuvering it out from underneath. Hope you all are changing them, I did mine a bit early then what the manual says.

Thats how I did mine. It was a royal pain in the derriere. It has been awhile since I did it but I think there is some clip/tab that prevents you from just removing the filter. If I remember correctly, I got gas on my shirt/face in the process!
