i just got an svt. woot right? well i got a 98 csvt for 1500 bucks from a car dealer ship on whole sale. it was mint except for a small dent over the rear passenger quarter panel. any suggestions on exhaust, intake, and performance chips(if there are any out there that are WORTH it). im just new to domestics and im looking for some help, i used to drive a dsm and i got my head into alot of import stuff but im trying to spread my interest and make my good deal turn into an ass kicker.

Personal favorites for me are the borla for a bolt on cat back. Brullen makes a good y-pipe, and there are a myriad of intake options. Also, I do throttle body optimizing and a few other odds and ends at www.buckshotmotorsports.com.

A good website to check for all types of parts specific to the contour is www.batinc.net

Definately find your local SVTOA chapter. Contours are usually the smaller group so it is always nice to have one along at an event. Where are you located?

thanks rick, id like to know how you optimize it exactly. diagrams, descriptions, specs, and all that. i may not know much about THIS car but im no stranger with cars in general.
