I just found out that my oil cooler has a pinhole in it, which is the cause of my mysterious oil leak for the past few weeks. They say it is a casting defect with that individual part and with 100K miles I have to suck it up. It is an aluminum part and was wondering of it can be welded without paying the 250parts + 250labor costs to replace it. If anyone knows about this problem or about aluminum welding... Thanks and Merry Christmas

At 100K miles I'd try "J-B Weld" at about $5 before I'd go for a replacement. And do it myself for no charge.
