Did anybody know that the coupe has different struts and shocks than the Convertible? Does anyone know what the difference is? I have the feeling that the vert has stiffer shocks even though the springs are softer. My vert rides stiff now that I have coupe springs in it.

The vert has lower spring rate that the coupe. The vert also has ford bolt on subframes.

As far as I know the shocks and struts are the same. 'Vert spring rates are 500 lb/in front, 470 lb/in rear. Coupe rates are 600 lb/in front, 600 lb/in rear. The bulk of the stiffness you're feeling is that big jump in the rear.
As mentioned the 'vert has the bolt-on subframe connectors. It also has a bolt on k-brace that boxes the bottom of the k-member.
