Mystic Paint Code?

Would a 1996 Mystic owner out there please post the Ford paint code for that model, and, if known, the stock number for the touchup paint vial that Ford sells for that model?

My Name Is Bee And I Have 2004 Mystic. The Paint Code Will Be On The Door With The Vin# Etc. It Should Start With A Letter Followed By A Number.
If That Don't Work You Can Always Call Your Local Ford Dealership And They Should Be Able To Help You.

Yes, the 2004 code is there, but the vial of Ford touchup paint that IDs is just a regular blue/purple. Back in 1996 you could get true color-shifting Mystic touchup. So if I can chase the code down, I will see if it's still available.

If I remember correctly the code is LF. You have to call SVT to get the touchup. I got mine last year, it was $35 for a little tube, I think it's dried up already. Oh well.

plakgt50 is correct. You must buy the paint from a Ford dealership. Any dealership can order it in. I have one tube that has partially dried up hower a few drops of thinner has brought it back to life.

Maquino, the touch of paint for the 96 Mystic is paint code LF, Ford Part # AL81-6806-b.

I've heard of some enthusiast buying the Maisto 1/24 cars and using the touch up paint thined out to paint their model since it was not easy to buy the Mystic paint.

Thank you for the info. Even though the '96 Mystic is slightly different from the '04 Mystichrome, the '96 touchup may be better than the straight color blue-purple that Ford is offering this time around!
