Ignition updates - coil pack

Does anyone know if there are any major differences between the stock SVT coil pack & wires and those offered by Screamin Demon or Accel - ( I don't see a listing for Mallory) Also anyone know if the Ford Racing wires will fit on the Accel coil pack (Accel lists their wires at 8mm and Ford lists at 9mm) or the stock pack for that matter.
Screaming Demon has you increasing the plug gap, does Accel have you do the same?

The article has a before and after comparison between the stock and Screamin Demon setup.

Thanks.. saw that and I would like to believe that a coil change is worth that much on the dyno.

I would prefer to pick up Accel or Mallory as they are easier to find locally - anything mail order - I get nailed coming over the border.
