Hope to hear from all you 2003 Cobra owners. What a car!
Has anyone done exhaust mods yet? What have you done?
What about air intake mods? :) :cbra:

Well... I've been begging current 03 owners to donate their aftermarket exhaust parts to me when the decide they are too loud :D
So far no takers
My financial advisor (read: Wife) won't let me buy anything else since she gave in on the Cobra.
If I have to leave it stock, it's still a sweet car though so thank you Honey (if you're reading this) :allhail: ;)
I did put the cat-back from my old 99 Cobra on it and it does have more of a burble now. No HP/TQ gains though I'm sure.
Still think this guy is awesome ----------->:bna

I'm stock and will be for the near future but I'm planning on doing some mods.
The guys doing exhaust upgrads are getting some really good numbers. I've seen one guy get 18 rwhp from exhaust. Not sure about long tube headers but I've heard as much as 20+rwhp from them.

I have been installing some bolt-ons as I get the extra money. So far I have installed a Cobra R hood, Bassani exhaust, AR cold air diablo chip and 3.10 upper pulley. I plan to attend Dyno day with local SVTOA so I will see if the mods give me extra ponies and how many. Last dynoed at 380 RWH and 369 MT.

I'm a member of The Corral staff. I used to "work" for Mike Rayburn years ago, when Stangnet was just getting started....

Got any pics of the Cobra R hood installed?
Where did you get the 3.10? Is it a hub install or a press-on?

I got the 3.10 pulley from Rick at Amazon Racing. The hood is from Steeda John

rachrse, we need members like you, who have done modifications, to tell other members what their experiences were as far satisfaction with the products, results of the mods, and other impressions. We want to get moving on our "Shop Talk" segment of the SVTOA website, but so far I am not having much success in finding people who want to take part. If you have any interest in this, please contact me.

That one is a press-on and not the hub kind though right?

I guess I left that out yes it is a press on and not the hub style. The hub I think is probably better if you are going to change the pulley again they are hard to get off. Rachrse

I want to do a pulley, but I'm leaning toward a 3.10 with the hub so that I could change it easily if I wanted to. I'm not sure why, but I just feel good about the 3.10 size based on what I'm hearing. I haven't heard of any 3.10's with the hub yet though. I may go with a 3.20 but I'd rather have the 3.10. Thanks for the info.

I hope this works out I'm going to tryand attach my dyno numbers from Dynamic AutoMOTIVE in Charolotte, NC. I used the JDM +5 and +7 pullies. The +7 is the final dyno numbers compared with the stock dyno pull. Check out the torque numbers! The JDM kit comes with a SuperChip flip chip and a MagnaFlow catback. In case the attachment doesn't show up my e-mail is dalemarlow@aol.com and I will send it to one of you computer savy folks if you could help me get the figures online. The torque jumped to479.2 ft/lbs!:cbra: :cbra: :cbra:
