The Arizona Chapter of the Ford Special Vehicle Team Owners Association invites all of our chapter members to the October 2004 Regional Performance Driving Event. :spinem: On October 29-31, 2004 we are co-sponsoring with other SVTOA Western Regional Chapters a great opportunity to gain on track driving experience. :tmb: The event will be held at the Buttonwillow Raceway in Buttonwillow, California.
All SVTOA performance driving events emphasize safety and education. SVTOA lead driving instructor, Jeff Lacina :allhail: will be there as well as several of his assistants to conduct driver education at all skill levels. The SVTOA driving instructors, assist all drivers with a mandatory ground school for all experience levels, along with intensive track orientation, ride alongs with instructors, and driving exercises with in car coaches. The education and on-track sessions are not only fun but are designed to help everyone involved develop new skill sets at different levels; from novice through hot shoe. :wow: On track sessions are always split into experience levels so that each driver can drive at his or her limit.
Besides, the driving events, there will be representatives from Maximum Motorsports, Vortech, Brembo Brakes, Steeda, and Bassanni in attendance to answer technical questions. The technicians at Maximum Motorsports will have their scales at the track to help set up participants cars for performance driving. In addition a chassis dyno will be on site to conduct performance testing and help establish some bragging rights. :bna There will be food and raffles as well.
