Focus RS8 vs Gallardo in MT

There's a Motor Trend issue out now that might interest some of you. It features a comparison test between the Ford Racing Focus RS8 and a Lamborghini Gallardo! There's even list of parts needed to make it happen. If you start with a Focus RS, the price for the entire project is right around $100,000!

the good news is you can skip most of that junk if you are just wanting speed. just need the motor, conversion kit and tranny, if you can do the work yourself then you are in business.

According to the article you can also save about $40K if you start with a ZX3 and even more if you use a less expensive engine... although, the one in the article looks pretty nice!
