I have a '97 Cobra that just had the clutch replaced and now the pedal is vibrating. The repair shop has tried to fix it 3 times now and says it's the clutch quadrant. I took it to the local dealer and they want to do the clutch replacement again with Motorcraft parts, feeling the quality of the parts are the issue, not the clutch quadrant. Does anyone have any experience or input here? Thanks.

I had that for a while a couple years ago with the stock quadrant, cable, and clutch. The pedal would vibrate intermittantly (especially on deceleration), almost like a pulse. I have since replaced the clutch with a centerforce and gone with the firewall adjuster and adjustable cable. So far, it hasn't come back. The guide tube for the throwout bearing was recently replaced since it broke off the bellhousing. I don't know if that was a problem before or if it had anything to do with it.
