Oil Pressure gage noise = crazy?

I know this might sound crazy, but i swear my oil pressure gage is making an odd and difficult to describe noise. Has anyone else had this issue? At 1st I thought it was the engine, but I couldn't hear it outside the car. Today i put my head very close to the dash and reved the engine. The noise was coming from the dash and I think the gage. What gives?

i've heard of people saying they heard this too, but I never heard a resolution. Take it to the dealer and have them figure it out.

it is the oil pressure guage, I'm having mine replace when they get the new one in! Funny story I took my SVTF in and told them about this problem(telling them it was the gauge), and they thought it was the cam sprocket making the noise, after new sprocket and same noise they figured out I need a new oil pressure gauge. While doing this they scratched my clear plastic tach cover!
