Even though I live in Jersey where self service is illegal I usually pump my own gas. Today, feeling less than perfect after a prior day of watching football and drinking beer I needed gas. I pull up to the pump and tell the guy, fill it up with premium.
As I sit in the car I hear a noise and get out to see what it was and the damn nozzle jumped out of the fill hole about 3 feet away from the car. Even though it didn't hit the car I check things out, all is ok.
I tell the dope to stand there and hold the the handle the rest of the way, when all the sudden I notice he was filling it with regular. This was after taking $10.00 worth of gas.
I get annoyed and tell this guy to finish it with premium and it takes $7.00 and change until it is filled.
I get in the car expecting the worst but the damn thing still runs great, no pings as I feared.
I swear my car is possessed by a spirit of some sort. It felt the regular going in and pushed out the nozzle........
