Using a GtechPro Competition (new model, not the old one) (when i was first learning how to use it) averaged from mulitple runs on my stock 2001 Cobra Coupe i got:
0-60: 5.472
1/4 Mile: 13.7855 @ 106.825 mph
sound realistic for a stock 01?

Well, I have a G-Tech (the old version) and mine would tend to read a slightly higher MPH, which is typical for those devices based on the way MPH is calculated at the dragstrip. I have found in testing my G-tech a tthe dragstrip and comparing the results to my timeslips that it\'s consistant and fairly accurate. What you do with it, is use it as a tuning tool for between trips to the dragstrip.
Your best bet is to get some dragstrip time under your belt for the sake of data analysis....

Yeah i agree that actual track time would be great, but the problem is that where i live (Bay Area...) it\'s pretty far to get to a track... not impossible though. I got the Gtech mainly out of curiosity, but also like you said to compare my mods and get some practice with different launching techniques. The new gtech is pretty cool, it allows you to download the raw data to your computer and generate graphs, do more calculations, etc... if you are interested i\'ll post some of the data/graphs i have gotten with it. (i still havn\'t got any data since the blower and newer mods, car should be done by the time i get home in about 10 days)
