Kenne Bell 2.2 running 18lb pulley

60lb injectors
Pro-M 92mm calibrated to the 60's above
Pro-M CAI
Metco auxiliary pulley & oversized idlers
Meziere extreme duty electric water pump
Afco intercooler heat exchanger
Vortech Water Tank Upgrade for 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra
Denso Iridium IT22 plugs
Bassani x-pipe w/cats and catback
Predator tuned by SoCal Diablo
Loads of suspension goodies from Maximum Motorsports...
Peak rwhp = 607
Peak torque = 632

1/4 mile ET = 10.6??? (ya' gotta love these cars!!!!!!)

All this on crappy California 91 octane, with nice safe a/f ratios throughout the range.

The key? Make sure the MAF is calibrated to the correct injector size, and have the car professionally dyno tuned. Out-of-the-box chips and tunes are timebombs, i.e. excessively lean. IMHO

I don't know if you measured HP after each mod but I was curious, what kind of power did the Kenny Belle give you?

The car was put on the dyno right before I started performing modifications, and then after I had completed the hp-related mods. It would have been nice to see the incremental hp gains, but dyno time isn't cheap, nor is it as convenient as I'd like.

In stock trim she made 362 at the rear wheels - which implies more than the advertised 390 flywheel numbers. More like 420?

In an initial pull after the mods and with a "safe" tune designed to keep me from blowing up the motor until we could custom tune it on the dyno, she made 553 at the rear wheels. Once we got into the tune it became clear I needed a bit of tweaking of the fuel curve, and had a lot of room for more timing. After these mods, she was up to 612 after pull number 3. Then we backed off the timing (again for safety) and settled in at 607.

So, 245-250 - pretty close to the advertised numbers KB has listed for an otherwise stock Cobra @ 18lbs of boost. That said, I'm running a better MAF/CAI (Pro-M 92mm), bigger injectors (60lbs vs the 36lb injectors KB shipped with the blower), and Bassani from the cats to the tips. One would think I'd be seeing another 25hp? Alternately, I'm not convinced opening up the exhaust did not actually offset gains made elsewhere...
