Very Bad News

##BEFORE AND AFTER PICS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST##

Had my friends 2000 Cobra R for a couple days,
and upon returning to the house (2 hrs away)

I was driving along side a full size pick up,
well the guy in the pick up hit a deer and threw it
right in front of me :mad: :rant: :mad:

I couldn't do ANYTHING to stop the inevitable :thud:

The R got in an accident (crying smiley here)
I pull off to the side of the road as fast as I can shut her down,
seeing all the antifreeze just run out :eek: and see the whole front facia off and tucked under :eek:

Naturally the truck keeps going...

I make the phone call he asks "Where are you?"
well... I am in the middle of nowhere , no sign, no lights, no business' and it is almost midnight :eek:

The car is totally fixable, and we are doing all the work ourselves,
we got all the parts ordered the day after the accident, and we tore off all the bad / damaged parts, when the parts start arriving,
I am going to paint them, and get them on the Baby again ;)

Glad that you walked away. Those deers can do some serious damage.Sorry to hear about the car. I was up at US41 this past weekend. I was the one with the only SVTF up there. Didn't race just watched. I had a good time but was hoping to see some more SVTF up there. Talk to you later.

I am going to post about another meet, and see what they come up with...

I am still trying to get my dealer sponsor to let me have the car show there this month, I am still shooting for one of the last weekends of this month...I will post if it is a definate

June 26th I am having my Chapters (first meeting / get together)
it will be a car show as well, I posted about it on here and Chicagosvt, hope to see you there!

The R won't be ready in time :mad: :huh:
we have to go out to Dearborn to get some of her parts,
thought about trailering her there with the Lightning :huh:
but I guess we will wait for the next one...:bash:

Wow...I'm glad no one got hurt...except the car...DAYUM! :frn: Big animals like deer, moose, and the like can really cause some serious damage. Some people have written off their cars as it's like running into a brick wall.

The R is all better, I just painted the front air dam last week :hrs:
