Well I got tried of trying to keep brakes on my Lightning so over the weekend I got an '03 10th Anniversary edition Cobra. It is a black convertable with the red and black interior. Other than the different interior and different wheels are there difference between it and other '03 Cobras?

Glad to see you on this board now!

The 10th Anniversary Model is mechanically the same as the other 03 Cobra's. The difference is in the wheel design (same dimensions as 03 Cobra's), the Red Leather replacing the Suede in the center of the seat, a different steering wheel, gear shift boot, red trim on the door panels, 10th anniversary floor mats, and 1oth Anniversay Badge on trunk. Oh , I forgot about the Powder Coated Red Calipers!

Can't wait to be in the same run group with you at CMP!!! We will have to see if we can get you, me and Thomas on track at the same time!!!

Hope to see you some time this summer!!

Thanks for the information Tom and Frank. I think March CMP will be my first on track event. I need to get my roll bar and we our going to do a rear seat delete also. Patch want to get rid of most of the red. I need to find some carbon fiber inserts of the door panel around the windo switches. Anybody know where I can find them?

Looking forward to seeing you and Thomas this summer.

Tom can you tell me how many 10 Anniversary Cobras were made? How many of them were black convetibles?

Hey Beerkat!

I was just on the www.steeda.com website and they have a variety of interor trim parts. They also offer Roll Bars for Convertibles. You may want to check it out!

I got their Catback Exhaust System and Cold Air Intake on my car. The stuff I have gotten so far is 1st calss!

Man no fair! I want to go, but gotta work:( Of course I get to keep the Cobra that way (and the wife, kids, house, dog, cat, etc....)

Hope you and Patch have a great time, and I am sure you both will! It sounds like a good event with a lot of good people!

Are you coming to VIR 6/18 and 19th? I am pretty sure I will be there. Even though it is the small course, I still want to see the track. From what I hear it is a great place!

If you need some extra hands when you start the mods on the Cobra, let me know, maybe Thomas, Spence and I can come down to help!

Later

Not going to VIR. Could not run the Cobra because it has not roll bar and the Lightning needs tries and brakes. I made the decission not to go a while back and had told Clay that it just was not meant to be. I will run the dragon's tail for you.
