Did some quick photoshop work and wanted to see what you all thought, I am not sure which color to go with, I like the red but would prefer an alternative sense there is gonna be another SVT around here with the same color cals :) Gotta respect the uniqueness :)

Sonic blue is going to be impossible to match with a high temp paint.....I think red and yellow both look good, but I am going to have to lean towards red because that is what I sprayed mine! :tmb:
I would like to see the end results of your decision.
I'm thinking Blue.
But then again, I was thinking about black as well.
Sorry, I didn't get a chance to respond to you in this (http://www.svtownersassociation.com/svtoaforums/showthread.php?s=&postid=66677#post66677) post.:(

Yea I really like the red to, and also the yellow, but like i said about the red, it would be kinda crappy of me to do the same exact thing that twinsvts is gonna do, which is paint the cals on his sonic blue red. The only thing im worried about with the yellow is they are gonna get dirty and look like crap.

That's why I was thinking about black for mine.
Hmmm.

Silver would have been my choice if I bought my car new, but my calipers looked terrible when I bought my SVTF...so I sprayed them red.
Any color is going to get dirty.... just take the rim off and clean them, it's that simple. The bake dust comes off pretty easy too!
As far as black, you probably won't see any brake dust on them. But then when you think about it, stock would stick out and look better, unless your calipers are so far gone that the only thing left is to spray'em

I am thinking of painting mine black like my cobra came stock and then getting some high temp decals (for sale on ebay) and having SVT on them in silver or white.

I'm also looking into getting some new rotors and pads here after a while so the main focus will be on them with a subtle look for the rotors. Plus some new rotors and ebc pads should help on the brake dust. Its either that or get some euro wheels so it doesnt show as bad. I plan on some euro wheels anyway.

I think I like the red the best. I'm glad you posted these pics JB, I've been thinking of painting mine and haven't been able to decide on a color. I was going to pull a rim and do the test thing with colored tape, but haven't got around to it.
Good job Bud! :allhail:

I am the only one that voted yellow! Common, I like yellow. Yellow and blue are two colors that go very nicely with each other. My calipers are painted yellow. I think they should be yellow. yellow yellow yellow.

Sonic Blue?: definitely red Calipers.
Infrared?: black's the way to go.
I'm curious to see what yellow would look like on a red one. Nate?

I went blue with my SONIC BLUE SVTF. I love it... I just used the Canadian Tire brand of caliper (high temp) spray paint-$7.99 I had my mechanic do it for me when I brought the car in for tire rotation. (He also did the ends of the rotors) Looks awesome, but it's been a year now, and some has flaked off. I'll see if he's interested in doing it again for me. The blue was a bit darker than the SONIC BLUE, but in my opinion that's fine. No one really can tell the colour difference other than me, and that's only when I'm washing my rims.
