The recent price increase for anyone wanting to covert their headlights has raised this interesting fly in the ointment.
Turns out the HID units are not Daytime Running Light compliant. Vehicles in Canada have to have Daytime Running Lights. Unless Ford figures out a way of wiring the lights to run something compliant, they will not be offered as an option on the 2003 SVTFs heading to Canada.
Also, the parts department have also flagged the lights because of this issue. You will not be able to get these lights from them :(
