Rear Hatch Stip

Does anyone know if the '03 SVT colored hatch strip with fit the '02? I'm tired of putting Back-To-Black on the stupid thing. I went to my dealership to see the price and they said that since it's an '03 part number they don't know if it'll fit the '02. I don't want to spend $68 for something that I'm not sure will fit.

Actually, does anyone have their Red hatch strip laying around because it got replaced with a Chrome one? If any one does or is going to, contact me and we'll talk.

why do you have to put back to black on it? my old one never faded.

and yes they will fit cause it is the same strip with just a thick coat of paint on it.

What year did they release the chrome strip? Was it only on the 04's and certain models like only the ZX5.

This strip really adds some class to the rear end of the focus.

I love the black on red "Hot Wheels" type theme all around the veehickle. Chrome's for SE sedans and station wagons.

I fits just fine. Actually comes painted. I got sick of the plastic fadding also. Remove the inside plastic trim on the hatch and it is bolted on. Takes 30 minutes.
