does anyone else's 03 cobra clutch slip above 4,000 rpm when you get on it? It was fine when new, but it is starting to slip.
You can also feel it slip a little below 4,000, but it is mainly at 4,000 and above. (i believe that is when the second set of valves open)

No I have not. I've had the car at over 125 mph in 5th and is OK. Done quick launches, quick shifts with no slippage. I have less than 1550 miles in the odometer though.

Some owners say they have problems with 2 to 3rd, not me (knocking on wood). My opinion is that some drivers don't know how to use the clutch as well as engaging the gears appropriately, specially if you come from an automatic.;)

Maybe a trip to the dealer to take a look at it is in order.

The clutch does slip. My clutch has already been replaced once and its happending again. I guarantee a recall on the clutches.

For what it's worth...after 4300 miles of driving like I stoled it,
my clutch is fine. I've run it at the 1/4 mile track about ten times also, and yes I've tried different types of launches.

I want long tube headers and I want to replace the clutch before I have them installed just to prevent the need after the headers are on. It will be interesting to see just how well I do when I try this spring with my new Goodyears as well as BFG Drag radials.

2400+ miles. Driven relatively hard. Been up to 158+ in 5th. No slip. Not yet.

No problems here.
