look what I saw in Hawaii! Kinda cool!

So apparently either the local cops have a bunch of cars from drug busts or something but they had all sorts of cars...

I saw a clack Lightning
a comp orange SVTF (euro)
a Black SVTF
a Black cobra

The only one I was able to geta picture of was the cobra, They were all going the other way and hauling butt!

oh BTW this cobra above is a COP CAR! The car has a blue light on the roof if you look closely...

I love how cops can do that in Hawaii. But you have to wonder, how long or how fast can a car chase be on Hawaii? As soon as you hit something like 140, you're on the other side.

I was definately impressed when I saw it! Made me take a double take before I realized it was a cobra!


As far as the can't go to fast... I was really suprised to see how big the o'ahu is... It took us like 3 hours to travel 1/4 around the outside of the island... This was speeds of 25-60 mph... depending on where we were... WE did travel through housing areas and also on highways.

I think I'm gonna put in for there next... To bad there is no SVTOA club there!

<smirk> I'd love to tear up the top end of the SVTF on the island with the cobra blairing the lights as we went... Then again I don't think the jail time afterwords would be worth the fun!

You might have seen my black SVTF. It's the only black one I've ever seen here in Hawaii. Yes, some cops have some pretty sweet rides!! Some of the guys with the modded Stangs/Cobras make you almost want to get pulled over. Almost. ;)

I saw the black one I am refering to when we were heading to the north shore area. I believe the road we were on was 99... And you'd have been coming to a stop sign getting ready to turn onto the road I was on.

There is something on the top of your windshield, not sure what it said but you had something on it...

Anyways the guy who was driving that day was in a hurry to get to the North shore and didn't want to try and flip a U to get back to you to BS....

Oops! That's not me with a sticker on my windshield. I've just got two small focaljet stickers on my rear quarter windows. Oh well, I thought I was famous there for a second. :)

I haven't seen an Euro's around town yet, so I'm not sure who you've seen. One guy has a red one, and I've seen a couple sonic blue's around. SVTF's are so rare around here.

I have a picture of that same Cobra from my trip to Waikiki last June. The Police station is just accross from the Hyatt. I think the cops have a car stippen to spend on whatever they want.
