They certainly don't hang out here!!
Have my 98 for 6 years now--my 18 year old's daily car now as I have a Cobra. An absoulutely great, underappreciated car.
Most discussion is over on www.contour.org-- great web site.

The CSVT's are great. I passed up buying my buddy's '99 when he sold it a couple years ago and I'm still kicking myself over it. Just wait a few years and the Focus board will probably be just as barren.:(

they are getting VERY affordable now. You can get one with a moderate amount of miles on it for around $6k. And they are usually in good shape cosmetically.

Yep... already took that issue up with the CFO (aka wife)... just got the LOOK big time, lol. :jawdrop:
The ones in good shape are closer to 10k in these parts.

I plan on having a SVTC in the near future. They are sweet cars. Let's hope the Focus board doesn't slow down.

Most of the lack of activity over here spawns from the SVTOA really kicking up their marketing after all the contour production had pretty well ended. Mostly who you see over here are the people that have actually been to some SVTOA events and are members.

I agree with Buckshot77 on that one. I seldom come here, but here's a shout out! I've got a 2000 SVTC and i'm still loving it.

I'm here too. I do spend most of my time at the CEG (contour.org), more specifically in the New England forum. I am planning on attending more SVTOA meets. The main reason I haven't before is because my local chapter is in Mass, and I hate driving on thier horrible roads. I'd be bending rims and losing side skirts left and right! But I'm willing ot take the slolom course to get to a few meets.

I'm still here and I am now also in the final countdown to 300,000 km. Less than 1,000 to go. :tmb:

One of 'em was at Summit Point this weekend. See the Gallery on www.freestatesvtoa.com - Mountaineer Madness album page 28, pic #245/400

I linger around here still waiting for the SVTOA Welcome packet to come in the mail. Apparently there is a guy with another CSVT in Germany. I think I will see about picking up some spare Mondeo parts while I am here. The way I figure it there is probably not a lot out there body wise to replace what we have.
