OK Tire - 4th Annual North Shore Challenge - Elliott Lake Dragway
July 11 - 13, 2003 - mark your calendars now!!

The 4th Annual OK Tire North Shore Challenge will encompass a total of three days next year, from July 11-13, 2003 and is going to be the biggest and best event in the series so far. At the Elliot Lake Airport Dragway, Friday July 11 will be Test and Tune all day followed by a "Night of Fire". You will see jet cars at night, followed by fire works and a concert is also in the works(Tom Cochrane or Colin James?). Plans are also underway for a midway to help entertain the children while the parents are enjoying the races trackside.

The drag races themselves will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Here you will see the following classes race for over $25,000 in CASH prizes! 1/8 mile racing.

Super Pro, Semi Pro, Street, Snowmobile, Motorcycle and Jr. Pro.

Last year we were entertained by a total of 240 racers from all over Ontario, Quebec and Michigan. Tickets are $15/day or $25/weekend pass. Children under 12 are free! V.I.P. tickets are $125/weekend or $75/day.

If you are at all interested in booking rooms at the Algo Inn(which I would suggest) we have 78 rooms. Cancellation policy is one week prior to the event! Guests will be provided with a free shuttle service both days to and from the Dragstrip.

If you wish to indulge at our Bud Tent we will make sure you get back to the Hotel without having to drive. We have a restaurant located adjacent to the hotel lobby and we are attached to the Algo Shopping Centre. Here you can take an elevator from you hotel floor directly into the Elliot Lake's only air conditioned shopping centre.
