I love the fact that every time I log into the internet I can open the SVTF forum up and there is something that has been written new about 98% of the time... I think the only other thread that comes close to how ofter this site is posted on is the 03 Cobra thread...
Sad that there are some that have the same post for up to a month as the newest post... Like the often overlooked contour!
Anyway... Thanks guys for making this forum as awesome as it is... Lots of great info, some bad but that happens... Usually not a bunch of BS either...
:spinem: You guys make this place ROCK!

and we are going to overtake them cobras soon enough
muhahahaha
its been over the past few days that the love for my car has increased 10 fold
its speed and its agility and its stereo system
i love parkin the car getting out and noting how many cars the svtf would womp upon
and this thread is really informative
though i wish it would be more preformance orientated and not the "paint and decals" its startin to drift into

oh... Killing me... How dare you guys install decals and paint your calipers! HEHE! None of which I would do to my car! Oh... never mind...
I know what you mean... We had an awesome GB for a steeda sts... tried to get 2 other GB's going and NOTHING!!! IT's like everyone is scared to death to touch their SVTF's due to the warrenty... Sometimes you have to live on the edge! Take a risk and make your car distinct...
Anyone want to donate a V8 conversion kit? I'd love to kill my warrenty with one of those add onS!

Yep, I agree, this is a very well run and informative forum. For the most part everyone is friendly and helpful. IMHO there's a good mix of performance vs. appearance discussions. In fact, I wouldn't even mind a 'few' off-topic threads. It's nice to get to know the people that share the same interest that I do... just a new guy's 2 cents.

Well, here is why we like to keep the discussions FOCUS-ED on automotive topics- because people start going off on politics and religion and other things that turn into flamewars and such, this is a board for SVTOA, it's not a general chit-chat forum and that is how National wants it run. "Off topic" discussions we can do without, it uses up bandwidth and we don't want the forum to start looking like Stangnet or some of the "other" SVT boards that are filled with what amounts to garbage. What often happens is people with too much time on their hands begin to monopolize the boards and meaningful topics get lost or pushed far down the board because some folks place some sort of importance on your number of posts somehow being a reflection of status. Keep the discussions in line with the club and the hobby, that's what we ask here.
Thanks!

I wish I had a grand or so extra laying around to play with... Oh well.. Maybe some day I'll have all the bills paid off and be able to play like that...
Glad someone gets to though... Makes me know what works well and what is a waste of time!:p
