JR Carts are a no go. We are going on a springtime drive to Tahlequah to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the scenery. The weather should be nice, but in case it isn't we'll hold a rain location at Panera Bread (71st/Garnett) to just get a bite to eat for lunch and talk shop.
What weekend would the majority like to take the cruise?

I'm down for April 17th if I can get it off work. I'll have the wife come along as well. I'm sure she'll enjoy the ride. :D

The 17th appears to have won out. So we will be leaving Tulsa around 12:45 at the FoT South location. I figure taking the long way to Tahlequah will take about an hour at the most so we'll get over there and eat about 2 at Sam and Ella's Chicken Palace.

For us non-Tulsa members, could you be more specific about the "FoT South location." Also, FYI, you might want to check out
www.mustangsacrossamerica.com/2004.htm. Part of the cruise occurs April 14th from Mustang, OK to Little Rock, AR. There will be a film crew from the UK there for a documentary to be shown on the Discovery Channel at a later date.

ah yes sorry. Ford of Tulsa South is off the Memorial Exit from the Creek Turnpike. So take the Turner Turnpike to Creek, and Creek to the Memorial exit. Turn right off the exit, FoT is right there to your left. We'll be parked out in front of the sales office near the showroom apr0n.

I talked to my boss today and he is letting me have off Saturday, April 17th for the Tahlequah cruise, Saturday May 15th for the Driving school AND Saturday May 29th for a Focaljet get-together in Columbia, MO!
What a hell-of-a-guy! It is normally hard to get more than one Saturday off every 2 months and he is letting me take off 3 in about 6 weeks!
Yeah....that's the same thing I posted in the other thread. Oh well. :bna
The wife might be coming along on this trip as well. Lets all see if we can keep Ataru's wife entertained as she doesn't understand the facination with this car stuff...... :D

HERE (http://www.maps.msn.com/(zgczusfheiz3ts2dynnhge55)/directions.aspx?&StartName=9777+S+Memorial+Dr%2c+Tulsa%2c+OK+74133&StartLocation=36.02223%2c-95.88635&EndName=328+N+Muskogee+Ave%2c+Tahlequah%2c+OK+74464&EndLocation=35.91582%2c-94.96978&DataSetLangID=USA%2c409&RouteType=Shortest&RouteUnit=Miles) is the basic route we will be taking, basically we'll get on HWY 51 and cruise it all the way to Tahlequah. We will leave Ford of Tulsa South between 12:30-12:45 and arrive over there around 2. If you can't join the group but want to join us over there at Sam and Ella's Chicken Palace. Number there is 918-456-1411.
IF IT IS RAINY/STORMY WE WILL NOT CRUISE.
Rain location is at Panera Bread at 71st/Garnett. Come by for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat, meet and greet new members!

We were talking at the cruise in and the question was raised whether there is still construction on HWY 51 between Coweta and Wagoner. Does anyone who has been out that way recently know? We will take an alternate route there if it is bad construction. Silver Streak was saying that at one point parts of the road were gravel!
