Does anyone know how much I would save in weight if I took the back seat out and spair tire...and would it be worth it since no one rides back there anyway...
And what other things could I do where I would'nt have to spend much money

You would think with no back seat, no spare, and a small battery (bat), maybe 200 lbs.. Lightweight rims are a big help...like SSR Competitions.

I agree with this- production seats are amazingly heavy given all the framework. And spooling up heavier than necessary wheels hurts.

I think it wouldn't take long to answer your own question: Removing the goodies and using a bathroom scale tells you the weight quickly. You knock off 175 lbs. or so & you'll definitely tell the difference! Thinking in reverse, when a 175 person jumps in you sure as hell can feel the "load".

On cheap things to do, a suggestion: Don't go by price, go by value. Cold air intakes & exhaust stuff are BS. Tricket level improvements if that, and there's typically a down side.

Save some bucks on trinkets and get something like a ZEX nitrous system. Figure out how/where you're going to refill it BEFORE you buy it, and if you've got an easy economical source, you're in.

You will not even question whether it does something or not!

So, my vote goes to pulling out the items you mentioned you don't care about, save up 'til spring & do a nice install of a nitrous system and don't look back.
