i vote for orp, i think motor mount inserts shouldnt be considered for a group buy because they are only $19, lets concentrate on the more expensive items on the list.....:tmb:

I feel like I'm at the horse track.
"COME ON TB!!!"

What's the advantage of the ORP?

the off road pipe add a few HP some torque... However it is ILLEGAL FOR A "ON ROAD" vehicle!

You must not register it as a street use... It's called ann off road pipe for a reason!

I called and spoke with Focus Central...

They are unable to help with most of the stuff we are looking at...

1st the strut tower bar is as low as possible to start! I do agree as they are $69.95 and most are around $95.00

Side note... They mentioned these will not work with the AEM cold air intake! So don't bother!

2nd, the Throttle body, they said they can't touch due to distributer contlict if they did...

3rd for now the Off road pipe is unavailable! They have had problems with the tabs (on the upper part of the pipe) breaking and are redesigning it at this time... **** HOWEVER**** Did say that when the new one comes out they will work with us on this part for a group buy if you guys want to go with this item...

for now we can try with the steeda brake lines... Let me know if this is cool or not!?

If not lets get more ideas for parts and we'll go from there...

I am waitin till the morning and will contact my POC there to see if they can do the GB with us on the brake lines.

Oh by the way, of everyone I have spoken with about group buys... Most will at least talk about making a deal with us... However wanted to point out that one company in particular basically said F off...

focus sport... I've heard negatives from other focus part dealer about them and after talking with them today, I'm unimpressed!

Least they could have done was be nice, not answer by saying "don't do group buys, can't help" "all it does is piss people off" ... Well then I guess we will look elsewhere! Kinda funny as I'm sure C-F-M was happy with the $2000+ in sales created with the group buy... Can't imagine this would be a bad thing...

Oh well...

Too bad Focus sport wasn't cooperative - I was hoping that there might be some interest in the rear motor mount (not the $19 package).................

Do we know that the Steeda Stainless Brake lines will work with our cars???

We have bigger front brakes and disc brakes out back...no other Focus has that. I am sure that the parts are not the same for both Focai on the rear at least. The front my indeed be the same part number.

I am very interested in getting the SS brake lines for all 4 corners because several people I know have them on different vehicles and they say they make a huge pedal feel difference.:haha:

I'm sure they are the same for the brake lines... However when I call in the morning I will verify with my POC... This is the same guy I Spoke with who hooked us up with C-F-M.

Hopefully they can work magic again!

I'd be great to get these for about 20% off as well! We'll see... These are supposed to make a large differnce in how the brakes feel.... Making the stopping power of the car even better would be amaizing!

I stood on my brakes over the weekend from 80MPH and my car STOPPED on a dime. Even gave me change.
The SS lines would be an amazing item if they do better. I have found some slotted rotors that I would like to checkout. I'm sure you EBay surfers have seen two or three different variations that I am talking about. Fronts go for about $130 a pair, and the rears go for about $120 a pair.

You could try www.Batinc.net for the brake lines.

I've bought from them in the past and was impressed with both product and customer service.
