Shifter knob problems

Okay, My stock shifter knob looks like @ss...
For some reason it litterally is "wearing off"

Anyone else have this happening?

Should Ford replace it under warrenty?

this is hard to get a picture of... But when the wife notices how bad it looks I know it's past time to do something about it!

Wear and tear, brother. Strictly cosmetic. Good luck getting Ford to replace that under warranty.

Gt one of those light up neon onews for like 15 bux..... you know the kind that breaks in half if you power shift, but looks cool for like a couple days! hehehee

Had one of those in a 87 escort i used as a winter beater...

Course during Xmas on year I also stuck 300 Xmas lights in the back of it..... needless to say I had to have the motor revving to keep it lit. (too much power drain) hehehe
