just wanted to say what's up to everyone out there. just got my dream car: 98 cobra convertible. quick question: it had some mods on it already, and i'm wondering about gears. on my autometer tach, she reads 2900 rpm's @ 80 MPH. 245/45/17's. can anyone tell gear ratio?

Based on my 295/35/18's (just a bit bigger OD than your stock 17's)with a 4.10 rear doing about 2700 RPM @ 70-ish, I'd say you have a set of 4.10's too.
Haven't spun'em up for 2 months! Snow sux.
