South Florida SVTOA October Meeting
Well its time again for the South Florida SVTOA, every second Tuesday Meting on October 8th, at 7:00 PM, at Maroone Ford in Margate on Copans Rd. just east of 441.
Paul, our official Photographer, and Thomas, our official Editor will be there at 6:30 to take pictures, and do an article for submission to the SVT Enthusiast Magazine, show up early if you want to participate.
David Siegel has graciously accepted the position as Activities Director. For those of you who do not know David, he is the newly elected President of the Ft. Lauderdale Mustang Club, and has been working with them for the last 10 years organizing events.
I have not finished the goodie list for the raffle yet, but so far I have: From Steeda- a Tri-Ax shifter (if a Lightning guy wins we will work out something) and several bags. Razors Edge -- has promised a gift certificate of undetermined value at this time(should be pretty good) and showing off their 500 HP 03 Cobra “Yellow Bird”. Still have some billet parts and key chains from UPR and I am sure they will come up with some new stuff. (I love stuff.) Everyone with an SVTOA membership card or number will get one ticket free, and additionals will be on sale for $1 each.
Pizza will be provided (save me some of that ham and pineapple) by Maroone. We will finalizing the plans for the Power Fest on October 19-20 at Moroso, and discussing the nationally sponsored On Track event being planned for Sebring.
If you see any SVT vehicles or Fords that look like they like to race invite them to the meeting. If you have any questions please e-mail me at soflasvtoa@aol.com. I will send out an agenda on Monday.
