I was interested in the Cragar SS Classic. They are now offered in 18 inch sizes and resemble a very large American Racing Torq Thrust II wheel. While I can't afford to get them right now, I do believe that they would look rather nice on a black Lightning. Last I checked, American Racing did not offer the Torq Thrust II in an 18 inch size. That may have changed though but I think I would rather go with Cragar. I've had Cragar wheels before and they are of a fairly high quality.
Anyway, besides an information post, I was wondering if anyone has aftermarket wheels that are thinner than the stock 18 x 9.5 inch wheel. The Cragar SS Classics are only available in an 18 x 9.0 inch size as the largest size and the did not offer anything bigger. So if anybody is using a thinner wheel, I was wondering if you saw any ill effects?
